The new HEMAS Pharmaceuticals three-storey head office in Glen Aber is shaped through distinct interior identities across each floor, creating a layered spatial experience through warm tones and statement lighting that balance energy with functionality.
Responding to the narrow nature of the building, strategic shading and colour variation were introduced to visually ease the tightness of the space and enhance spatial flow.
Tied together through an industrial-chic language of exposed concrete and services, the interiors are energized by accents of yellow, red, and charcoal grey.
The ground floor cafeteria acts as a vibrant social hub, animated through varied seating, suspended lighting, and playful murals, while a mezzanine-level gym brings energy into the workspace through expressive lighting and graphics.
As the office transitions into collaborative and focused workspaces, softer textures, acoustic elements, breakout lounges, and quiet pods support comfort, productivity, and informal interaction.
